SHILLONG: BJP National General Secretary, Ram Lal on Monday said that the party was strengthening its organisational structure in Meghalaya in view up of the upcoming Assembly polls.
The BJP leader who was in Shillong for a meeting of the core committee of the party, said that BJP was contesting the elections this time in Meghalaya to form the new Government.
“As there is a Congress mukt campaign going on in the country, we would like to have a Congress mukt (free of Congress) Meghalaya,” he told reporters
On the other hand, BJP Meghalaya General Secretary, B Khongwir informed that the list of the party’s candidates for the 2018 Assembly polls would be announced in the last part of December. He also expressed confidence that the party would win the election with absolute majority.
