SHILLONG: A seminar on ‘Youth Organic Mission and Ecological Entrepreneurship’ was recently organised by the Department of English of Lady Keane College to educate students about the benefits of organic farming.
The seminar, organised in collaboration with Rural Development Centre for Organic Farming in Ri Bhoi, also emphasised on the concepts of social responsibility in businesses.
B Mawlong and C Massar, principal of Lady Keane College, also released the completed minor research project of the Department of English titled ‘A survey of the English Language Teaching and Infrastructure in Rural Secondary Schools: A Comparative Study with Urban based schools’.
