HSPDP’s Raswai to join KHNAM

MAWKYRWAT: Enbin K. Raswai, a former leader of the Hill State People’s Democratic Party here, will join the Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement. 

Raswai, who is also a former MDC from Mawkyrwat in South West Khasi Hills, said he would not extend his support to HSPDP candidate Renik L. Tongkhar. The politician will join KHNAM on November 29. “Leaders of other parties are also likely to join KHNAM,” said sources. Several KHNAM leaders, including the former CEM of the KHADC, Adelbert Nongrum, will attend the meeting to welcome Raswai.
