SHILLONG: A third phase motivational rally was organised by Bakdil run Wageasi PHC, North Garo Hills together with all the staff, Ashas and Anganwadi workers. Village leaders and IMCP departments, police department, educational department and church leaders also took part in the event.
There was also a public awareness programme and gathering at Wageasi market. During the gathering, Kharkutta Block programme manager NHM, Bernad Sangma highlighted the importance of immunization for mothers and children.
The rally aimed to promote awareness on vaccination of mother and child, safe birth of the child and mother, malaria eradication, etc.
