Nongrah gets plastic cell road

SHILLONG: The 1 km plastic cell filled road, which was constructed at Nongrah by the PWD this year, was initiated by local MLA Jemino Mawthoh.
Speaking about the road constructed at an amount of Rs 1.80 crore, the MLA said the plastic cell technology will be beneficial as it will last for more than 15 years.“People face problems while travelling along the road, especially during rainy season, which is hopefully solved now,” he added.Mawthoh said the Lapalang road will be extended after land is made available by the Agriculture Department.
