TURA: A 15-year-old boy from a village in East Garo Hills had to skip his final examinations after an assault by a group of alleged police personnel left him grievously injured.
Five unidentified persons, including two female cops in plain clothes, assaulted the teenager, who was in the midst of his annual exams, at his residence at Samanda on November 20 when he had just returned from school.
The boy sustained serious injuries and was unable to write the remaining papers. Action will be taken against those who perpetrated the crime,” said SP in-charge Ringrang TG Momin.
