Procession
The Shillong Eid Milad Un Nabi celebration Committee will take out a peaceful procession on the occasion of Eid Eid Milad Un Nabi (birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammand (S.A.W) from Mohammadia Al Hussaini Masjid, (Khan Masjid), Barapathar point, Shillong at 9 am on December 2. The procession will terminate at Laitumkhrah Masjid, Fire Brigade. The committee urged all the believers to attend the programme.
IGNOU
The term end exams of IGNOU will begin on December 1 and will end on December 23. All candidates are advised to check the date sheet and bring their hall tickets and student identity card.
General meet
The UDP will be held a general meeting at Khasi National Dorbar Hall, Mawkhar at 4 pm on December 2.
Shooting competition
The Meghalaya Rifles and Shooting Association will organise a shooting competition at the 58 Gorkha Training Centre, Mawlynrei from 10 am on Wednesday.
