Three children killed as wall collapses

Shahjahanpur (UP), Nov 29 (PTI) Three children were killed and two others injured when a wall collapsed on them in Sarthauli village this morning, police said.
The incident took place when a foundation was being laid for construction of a wall and an adjoining wall collapsed on the children playing nearby, Superintendent of Police, K B Singh said. Ganesh (12), Sharda (5) and Shivani (10) were buried alive under the debris while two others were rushed to the district hospital, the SP said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident and directed district officials to extend all possible help to those injured and their families.
An official release in Lucknow said the chief minister has asked officials to make arrangements for providing immediate and proper medical aid to those injured in the incident.PTI
