SHILLONG: The general council meeting of UDP to be held on December 15 will decide the party’s strategy for the 2018 Assembly elections.
UDP president Donkupar Roy said on Wednesday that the general council will discuss the election related matter among other issues.
He also said the election manifesto and the common minimum programme of the UDP-HSPDP coalition will be completed at the earliest.
The party leader said the next list of candidates is ready and will be released soon.
He said the party alone will contest in 32 seats and there will be more candidates in fray since UDP is in alliance with HSPDP and GNC.
