Worker held for attempted molestation in Tura

TURA: A 20-year-old daily wager was arrested on Saturday for attempting to molest a student of Tura Government College.
The 18-year-old student was alone in the class in the afternoon when the labourer was working nearby.
He held her hand prompting the student to raise an alarm.
On hearing her scream, two other workers came and accosted the man. Meanwhile, a crowd gathered around the place and beat up the accused and the other two workers.
They were taken to Tura Civil Hospital and police took into custody the accused who hailed from village Bogaon Chatamari in Goalapra district of Assam.
