Coming to join NPP, party to get 8 MLAs

SHILLONG: The Congress is set to lose one more member, Comingone Ymbon, who is keen to contest from NPP in the 2018 polls.
Ymbon, who is currently a Cabinet minister, was not available for comments. But sources said Ymbon is on the list of eight legislators who will join NPP.
Earlier, UDP legislator Remington Pyngrope had decided to shift allegiance to NPP.
With this, NPP will have 8 sitting legislators as the party is gearing up for the Assembly polls.
Others who are set to join NPP include Rowell Lyngdoh, Prestone Tynsong, Sniawbhalang Dhar, Ngaitlang Dhar, all from the Congress, and two Independents, Stephanson Mukhim and Hopeful Bamon.
