SHILLONG: A person hanged himself at his residence at Kynjat Phutbol under Laban police station on Monday. According to police, Hemanta Kumar Pradhan (50), a peon at secretariat tried to end his life by hanging in the bathroom. Though the person was alive owing to timely intervention of his relatives, he later died at Shillong Civil Hospital.
