SHILLONG: Hill State People’s Democratic Party president, Ardent Basaiawmoit has slammed the BJP for its policies which he alleged have created a sense of disaccord.
“The BJP wants to bring one language, one religion, one law and currently attempts to bring a uniform civil code,” he said.
He questioned the BJP’s link with RSS whereby the former was making efforts to fulfill the demands of the latter.
Basaiawmoit said the mood of the public was to bring back regional parties to power and remove national parties such as Congress and BJP.
“We had to turn to another regional party to oust the Congress,” he said.
Basaiawmoit assured that the UDP-HSPDP alliance would ensure clean governance and financial stability.
