P N Syiem resigns as MLA

SHILLONG: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and suspended Congress member, P N Syiem on Friday tendered his resignation as an MLA of Meghalaya Assembly to the Speaker of the Assembly with immediate effect.

In the brief letter of resignation addressed to the Speaker, the MLA Syiem who has represented 25-Mawsynram Legislative Assembly Constituency, stated, “I hereby tender my resignation of my seat in the House with immediate effect from December 5, 2017.”
