SHILLONG: Opposition leader Donkupar Roy on Thursday made a frank admission that he failed to improve the road condition in his Shella constituency.
“I failed miserably in road sector and blame should go to the department concerned. It was the case with MM Danggo who had failed miserably in road sector in Ranikor, but now he is the PWD Minister and he has done something,” Roy said while expressing his views on recollecting the last five years as MLA in Assembly.
According to Roy, as politicians, they have to explain their  failures to the people.
All party govt
He also mooted the need to have an all-party government after the next polls.
“Can we have an all-party government? I feel the best government will be an all-party government and there will not be any opposition.”
Congress Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh is also not averse to the idea of an all-party government as she said there was no harm in this.
