AMPATI: A one-day business and entrepreneurship programme was recently organised by South West Garo Hills Basin Development Unit here.
Speakers at the programme focused on business opportunities in non-farm sectors like handicrafts, tourism, retail business, service sector and informed the audience about financial assistance by the government. Two successful entrepreneurs from the district, Sanding M Marak and BA Sangma, shared their experiences with startups.
