Infant abandoned
A complaint was lodged that on December 4, Josephine Syiemlieh abandoned her twelve-day-old baby (female) at Children’s Hospital in Pohkseh. The baby was handed over to Lawei Baphyrnai Specialised Adoption Agency, Shillong.
Ransacked
Dr. Debashish Das, MD, Children’s Hospital, Pohkseh, lodged a complaint that miscreants ransacked the Billing Section of the Hospital on Monday.
Theft
On December 18 around 2.15 am, miscreants on one black truck and a Bolero Pick up (number not known) robbed 40-50 bags of rice from a truck (AS-25AC-7727) driven by Nilkamal Hajong at Ladsharai NH in Ri Bhoi.
