SHILLONG: The Greater Shillong Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose birthday celebration committee will organise a programme on January 23 at 8am onwards to celebrate the birth anniversary of Netaji.
The celebrations will include paying homage to the statue of Netaji located inside the premises of the U Soso Tham Auditorium.
A meeting held on Thursday elected new office-bearers consisting of Naba Bhattacharjee as the President, Babulal Sharma, Subhash Deb, Tushar Chanda, Swapan Das as Vice Presidents, Jayanta Sen as the Treasurer and Pankaj Deb as the General Secretary among other members.
