Public meet
A public meeting of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) will be held at Rangblang Sohsyniang on Saturday. The party’s chairman will host the meeting and will be attended by other party members.
Agri-fair
ICAR will organise a four-day Agri-fair from January 6 – 9 with the theme ‘drive to doubling income of tribal farmers in North East India’.
Raids
Excise staff, East Khasi Hills seized 221.140 liters of Indian Made liquor and 13.900 liters of IMFL during raids in November last year while 20 persons were arrested under the Excise Act.
