Sanbor lays base for 10 projects

SHILLONG: Former MLA Sanbor Shullai on Friday, unveiled the foundation stone for the construction of ten projects sanctioned under the PWD department with a budget of Rs. 3,97,68,300.
The MCIC organised the ceremony in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong of Upper Lumparing.
The projects which were initiated, recommended and inaugurated by Shullai involve the construction of PWD Roads in localities such as Mynsain, Bhutia Mandir, New Colony, Lumdorbar, Lumsohphoh and Upper Lumparing Area.
H.B Wahlang, Rangbah Shnong (Headman), Rangbah Dong (Assistant Headmen), members of the Dorbar Shnong and residents of Greater Lumparing Area were present during the ceremony.
In his speech, Shullai thanked the land owners of Greater Lumparing Area for donating their lands and requested the members of the MCIC to monitor the projects as per the specifications laid down by the concerned department.
