SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) got a shot in the arm after a leader each from the BJP and National People’s Party (NPP) joined the regional party at Mawhati Umtngam, Ri-Bhoi.
Wanlam Makdoh, secretary of BJP Mawhati and Lambor Damblong, member of NPP have also decided to extend support to Zaachari Shadap, KHNAM candidate from Mawhati who will contest the Assembly elections.
Makdoh joined KHNAM along with 50 supporters and Damblong also came along with his supporters at a meeting held at Mawhati Umtngam, Ri-Bhoi to welcome them.
