Arms license holders given time till March 31 to upload data

TURA: Arms license holders from West Garo Hills have been given time till March 31, 2018 to approach the licensing authority to get necessary data uploaded in National Database for Arms Licenses (NDAL).

The District Magistrate who issued the notification informed that the last chance for renewal or to obtain the Unique Identification Number (UIN) is March 31.

“After that, licenses shall be cancelled and arms will be seized by police and no arms license shall be considered valid without the UIN with effect from April 1,” the official added.
