Saleng to take over as NCP prez today

SHILLONG: Independent legislator Saleng A Sangma will tender his resignation and assume charge as Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) state president on Monday.
In a statement here on Sunday, the party said Sangma will tender his resignation at the Assembly Secretariat and thereafter assume charge as president NCP at the party office in the city.
Earlier, the party had removed Sanbor Shullai from the post of president following his affiliation to the BJP.
