SHILLONG: The impatient political enthusiasts who are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the date of Assembly polls have gone ahead circulating the 2013 schedule thereby misleading many for the past few days.
On Tuesday too there were several WhatsApp messages regarding the date of polls which were the copies of the time schedule of 2013 Assembly polls.
A legislator believed the fake poll date as true only to relise his folly after a media person informed him about the status.
Even a staff of the intelligence agency forwarded the fake date to the media for confirmation.
Some social media sites had announced that polls for the hill state will be held on February 22.
