Infant’s severed head found in Pynursla

SHILLONG: The severed head of an infant was found in a village in Pyrnursula on Friday afternoon. Police said at 2.30pm, a dog carried the infant’s head inside the residential compound of a person identified as Rebelty Khongjee at Nongmadan, Shadsngi. The head has been sent to Shillong Civil Hospital for postmortem. The police said the dog might have found the head from a nearby place.
