Adelbert clarifies on party stand

SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) working president, Adelbert Nongrum has clarified on his statement that has appeared in a section of the press that Congress and KHNAM will free the indigenous people. Addressing reporters on Tuesday, Nongrum said, “It is not Congress and KHNAM but I said that truth and righteousness will liberate the indigenous people of the state.” He said the Congress and KHNAM are working separately and has no link with BJP or any other political party.
