Complaint monitoring cell
In view of announcement of the General Election to Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, the District Election Officer, East Garo Hills, had set up a 24×7 Complaint Monitoring Cell to attend to the complaints relating to election expenditure and violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Complaints can be made to the District Election Officer by calling toll-free number 1950, 03658-220444 and 9856512023 at any time during the election period.
Eucharistic procession
The Sts. Peter & Paul Pynthorumkhrah Parish will hold the annual Eucharistic Procession on February 4. The day will start with the Holy Mass at 10 am and the procession at 1:30 pm.
Training
A team of IL&FS Skill Development Corporation Ltd, a designated training partner of National Skill Development Corporation, provided training for jobs of ‘Security Supervisor’ and ‘Supervisor Hospitality Sector’ to Assam Rifles personnel proceeding on pension. This training was aimed at imparting the retiring personnel with the right set of skills based on their existing expertise so as to improve the quality of their post retirement life.
