New Delhi:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to 15th century saint Ravidas on his birth anniversary who he said challenged social discrimination.
“I bow to Guru Ravidasji on his Jayanti… He stood for a society that is equal, just and compassionate. His teachings are eternal and relevant for people of all sections of society,” Modi tweeted.
Modi said the same spirit was behind the government motto ‘Sabka Haath, Sabka Vikas’. (IANS)
