SHILLONG: National People’s Party (NPP) candidate from North Shillong, Erwin Sutnga has officially launched the media App of 17-North Shillong constituency to highlight the issues, policies which he will take up.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, Sutnga said people could check out the programmes which he will address in the coming five years.
The App can be downloaded and installed from Play-store under “Paving the way-Erwin Sutnga.”
Commenting on his political prospect in the North Shillong constituency, Sutnga said, “The people of the constituency are in a state of meditation.”
He added that his main opponents would be known only after the scrutiny of nominations was done even as he maintained that national parties like the Congress and BJP still have their vote bank.
Hoping to win the elections from the constituency, Sutnga said that he would not give away MLA schemes to construct drains but to give free tuitions to students, address the needs of senior citizens, to improve the health sector etc.
