SHILLONG: Home Minister, HDR Lyngdoh who is seeking re-election from Sohiong constituency is a ’crorepati’.

The affidavit filed by the sitting legislator reveals that the gross total value of his moveable asset is Rs 1,47,34,000.

The MLA has a savings of Rs 1,070,0000 in one of the banks in Shillong. The sitting MLA also has a Toyota Fortuner vehicle worth Rs 19,64,000

As far as his immovable assets, the MLA owns three residential buildings in Shillong and Sohiong and the approximate current market value of the three buildings is Rs 3,60,00,000

On the other hand, his spouse is also a lakhpati as far as moveable assets are concerned and the gross total value of her moveable asset is Rs 47,43,672.

She also owns three residential buildings in Shillong and the total current market value of her buildings is Rs 2,58,00,000

On the other hand, former Congress MLA, Prestone Tynsong who is now trying his luck on a NPP ticket too possess land worth more than Rupees one crore

The affidavit filed by the former MLA says that the gross total value of his moveable asset is Rs 35,58,393 while the moveable assets of his spouse has a gross total value of Rs 38,27,691

Tynsong, his spouse and his dependent own three plots of non-agricultural land whose approximate current market value is Rs 85,00,000, Rs 1,60,00,000 and Rs 55,00,000 respectively

Both Tynsong and his wife also own residential buildings worth Rs 35,00,000 each.

The current market value of Tynsong’s property is Rs 1,20,00,000 while his spouse property is Rs 1,95,00,000

Meanwhile, KHNAM MDC, Adelbert Nongrum who is contesting the polls from   North Shillong constituency has a gross total value of Rs 2,93,459 as far as his moveable assets are concerned

The KHNAM candidate owns a vehicle worth Rs 1.5 lakh and neither he nor his spouse owns any plot of land.
