SHILLONG: The NCP’s state unit has announced the names of three more candidates who will contest the upcoming Assembly election, the surprise announcement being that of Independent MLA from 51-SouthTura Constituency, John Leslee K. Sangma who will now contest on an NCP ticket.
Apart from John Leslee, the party has decided to field Silman N. Marak from Songsak constituency while Drossing Ramsiej will contest from Mawkyrwat constituency.
NCP said that another list will soon follow.
