Parties confident to emerge victorious

SHILLONG: The elections are over and now everyone is anxiously waiting for the counting day but most of the political parties in the state are claiming that they will be the single largest party.
NPP National president, Conrad Sangma is quite optimistic that the they would emerge as the single largest party but at the end it all depend on the results.
NCP working president, Vijay Raj says that their expectations is very high though the assessment for party’s performance will be done on Wednesday.
Echoing similar views, UDP leader Bindo M Lanong also reiterated that the party will emerge as the single largest through he was not happy with the entire election process saying it was unsatisfactory.
BJP leader, AL Hek earlier while talking to reporters claimed that the BJP will lead the new government in Meghalaya which will be formed after March 3.
