SHILLONG: The NPP candidate from Songsak, Nihim D Shira said that a counter FIR will be filed against those who lodged complaint against NPP youth leaders recently.
Shira said that it was without any evidence that an individual filed FIR with the police against NPP members.
“If the case is not withdrawn, we will file counter FIR”, Shira said.
Earlier on February 21, Anderson A Sangma lodged a complaint that some boys namely, Senseble Ch Marak, Jelpan Ch Marak and Tanjen D Sangma and others threatened to detonate a bomb in the vehicle where the eight members of the Mahila Congress were travelling from Dagal A’pal to Wage A’pal (EGH), if they continue to work for the Congress party.
It was reported that the boys were identified as youth workers of the NPP.
However, Shira said they were falsely implicated without any reason.
