SHILLONG: The AITC candidate from South Tura, Bernard Marak has alleged that the result of the constituency needs to be reviewed as the votes declared through EVMs do not tally with the number of his supporters.
In a letter addressed to the returning officer, South Tura Constituency, Bernard said on Saturday that the votes polled for him got swapped to other candidates during the malfunctioning of EVMs on the day of voting.
He urged the returning officer to count again the VVPAT slips to confirm that the votes polled in EVMs and the VVPAT slips were not manipulated.
