Saleng, Lambor extend support to MDA coalition

SHILLONG: The lone NCP legislator, Saleng Sangma, and independent member Lambor Malngiang have extended support to the NPP-led Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA).
An NPP leader said both the MLAs have sent letters of support. With this, the strength of the coalition rose to 36 in the House of 59.
The MDA had the support of 34 members comprising NPP, UDP, HSPDP, PDF, BJP and Independent Samuel Sangma.
