Donkupar Roy ruling coalition’s nominee for Speaker

SHILLONG: While NPP-led ruling coalition has opted for Dr Donkupar Roy as its nominee for the post of the Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, the Congress on the other has finalized the name of Winnerson D Sangma as its nominee for the post of the speaker.

The decision was taken during a meeting called at the residence of the former Chief Minister, Mukul Sangma here on Wednesday.

Congress leader, HM Shangpliang later informed that he and Zenith Sangma has been appointed as the spokespersons of the Congress Legislature Party
