SHILLONG: Aide et Action, an international NGO, organised a training session for youths to facilitate entrepreneurship.
The workshop, ‘Facilitating Entrepreneurship vis-à-vis Government Schemes for Promotion of MSMEs in NE India’, was held at the Khasi National Dorbar Hall in Mawkhar on Friday.
The main objective was to make the 150-odd participants aware of the existing schemes, current opportunities and eligibility criteria for starting up ventures. The Small Industries Development Bank of India was the resource agency.
