Two die in separate road tragedies

SHILLONG: Two persons died in two separate road accidents at West Jaintia Hills and at 7th Mile in Upper Shillong
One truck (AS-01GC-7822) fell into a gorge at Wahmynso, NH-44 in West Jaintia Hills resulting in the immediate death of two occupants at 6:45pm on Monday. One of the occupants sustained serious injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital in Ialong, while three others sustained minor injuries.
In another tragic incident which took place on Sunday around 6 am, a female occupant by the name of Bhaduh Syiemlieh was declared dean on the scene after the local taxi (ML-05H-0928) in which she was travelling in, dashed against a wall at 7th Mile in Upper Shillong.
The taxi driver and two other occupants were admitted at Civil Hospital in Shillong.
