EFL University VC calls for clear thought process among students

SHILLONG: EFL University Vice Chancellor Prof. E Suresh Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated the Academic cum Library Block of the EFL University, Shillong campus in the presence of Campus Director in-charge Prof A.K. Mishra, faculty members from all departments and students among others.
This was Prof. Kumar’s first visit to Shillong campus after taking over as Vice Chancellor of EFL University in June last year.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the academic block, Prof Kumar declared that he would soon be sanctioning an ambulance for the campus while he also assured to sanction the girls’ hostel before he demits his office.
He also informed that the campus would soon get a computer lab equipped with 30 machines.
Stressing that music will help students streamline and organise their thoughts, he said, “As students of language, you all should have clear thoughts and be precise in your speech, know when to be formal and when to be informal, depending on occasion and person you meet.” While interacting with the students, he impressed upon them to think big and plan from now on what path to take to achieve their dream.
