NONGPOH: A 26-year-old woman from Ri Bhoi, who was working in Delhi, has been found dead in her apartment in Delhi.
Wandarisa Kongor was from Purdua in Marngar in the district. She stayed in Munirka House at Vasant Vihar in south west Delhi.
Her identity could be ascertained from the Aadhaar acknowledgement slip found in her apartment.
Ri Bhoi SP Ramesh Singh said the police here are cooperating with their counterpart in Delhi and a sub-inspector from the district has been sent with a member of the woman’s family to New Delhi.
Further details about the cause of Kongor’s death will be obtained after the team reaches Delhi, the SP added.
