SHILLONG: Process of procurement and installation of X-Ray machine and Complete Blood Count Machine for Mawphlang Community Health Center (CHC) has been started by the state government.
In a circulated reply to a question raised by Independent MLA SK Sunn at the Assembly on Tuesday, the Health Minister A L Hek said the proposal from the Medical & Health Officer, in charge of Mawphlang CHC had been received and the same will be processed accordingly.
Sunn asked the Minister whether any timeline had been set for installation of two machines to which the Health Minister said that the proposal of Medical & Health Officer was received on March 2018.
To a query raised by Congress MLA PT Sawkmie, Hek said that the process of determination of the cost of the machine was still under process.
