SHILLONG: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will arrive here on Monday morning.
The Vice President, who is on his maiden visit to the state, will leave for Delhi on Tuesday.
He will land at Upper Shillong Advance Landing Ground at 9.55 am and from there he will be heading to IIM at Lawjynriew, Nong-thymmai. There will be normal security arrangement and the city police will try to ensure smooth flow of traffic during the vice president’s visit to the business school, said East Khasi Hills SP Davis Marak.
“However, there will be temporary stoppage of traffic during the movement of the VIP from the advanced landing ground to the institution,” Marak added.
