“A survey reported by Entomological Surveillance for Vector Borne Diseases identified a few potential breeding spaces in and around urban areas including market area, Fancy Valley, Dobasipara, Hawakhana, Beldarpara, Dakopgre, Cherangre where collection of stagnant water from rain, leakages from water-pipes, storing of water without covering for using in the house, collection of water in cut bamboo poles in some areas and throwing of disposable cups and earthen cups and pots would provide a breeding ground for these mosquitoes,” Marak said.
