TURA: The All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association (AGHSSASTA) has strongly opposed the move of NIOS to conduct the D.El.Ed repeaters’ examination on May 7 at Shillong only.
“It was supposed to be conducted at our respective examination centres. It will not be possible for teachers from Garo Hills to go and write the examination in Shillong,” the association said.
The association demanded the state government to facilitate holding of the examination in Garo Hills also and warned that it would be compelled to agitate all over Garo Hills if the government failed to do so.
