TURA: A two-day training for Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers(AEROs) of Garo Hills region was kicked off at the DRDA Conference Hall in Tura on Thursday.
District Election Officer, Ram Singh, Meghalaya Joint CEO, T G Momin, EROs, AEROs including technical staffs from Garo Hills were present during the programme.
State Level Masters Trainers during the training programme were Chokpot SDO, Z J Sangma and Assistant System Engineer (Election) David Cooper Kharpuri.
The two day programme will include sessions on Constitutional and Legal Provision on Electoral Rolls, Revision Process, Health of Electoral Roll, Delimitation and Demarcation of Polling Station, ICC and NGSP, ERO Net, NVSP, BLO Net and BLO App.
