Landslide blocks Jowai-Silchar highway

SHILLONG: The Jowai-Silchar highway was blocked for more than 12 hours following a landslide that occurred on Sunday at around 1 A.M.

The landslide occurred at Sunapur village East Jaintia Hills near Sunapur Mandir. There was no casualty.   Sources informed that it took many hours to clear the road with the help of earthmover.
