Campaign to enroll beneficiaries of pension being held

TURA: A special campaign to enroll eligible beneficiaries of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension and Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension is being organized in all blocks of West Garo Hills on different dates.

West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the DRDA, Ram Singh informed that the special campaign will be held at Dadenggre, Selsella, Tikrikilla, Rongram, Demdema, Gambegre and Dalu on May 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15 respectively.

Beneficiaries have been asked to come to their respective block offices along with documents proving their age like Birth Certificate, EPIC etc, passport size photo, bank account number and Xerox copy of bank passbook and in the case of disabled persons, a certificate from the District Social Welfare Officer.
