Hamlet assures better facilities for Pyndengrei school

NONGSTOIN: Urban Affairs Minister Hamletson Dohling inaugurated the Golden Jubilee celebrations of St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School at Pyndengrei on Thursday and assured better facilities for the school.
Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat, Mawshynrut MLA Gigur Marthong, Rambrai Jyrngam MLA Kimfa Sydney Marbaniang, former Rambrai Jyrngam MLA KP Pangniang were also present during the inaugural function.
 The school was founded in 1969 and is currently one of the best schools in the district. Dohling lauded the efforts of the founders of the school and said that the school has provided many productive students. He also expressed his hope that the school will be able to produce more successful students in the future.
 Dohling emphasized on the importance of education and advised the students to take their studies seriously.
He also stated that the school management should be able to serve the students better.
 Regarding a memorandum submitted by the school authority, Dohling assured that he would take necessary steps so that the state government can provide the school with a better playground along with footpaths.
