Tikrikilla MLA denies anti-Cong campaign

SHILLONG: With allegations of Congress MLAs campaigning for an independent candidate in the recently concluded Williamnagar Assembly polls gaining momentum, party legislator from Tikrikilla, Jimmy D Sangma, on Thursday clarified that he never campaigned for anyone other than the Congress candidate.
“As a member of the Congress, I have campaigned for the party only,” he said while terming the allegations against him as fictitious and imaginary.
