Meghalaya ministers allocated districts for effective monitoring of schemes

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Governor has notified the allocation of districts to the Cabinet ministers for undertaking systematic and periodical review of various flagship programmes

While Prestone Tynsong has been allocated East Khasi Hills district,   James Sangma has been allocated West Khasi Hills district and similarly, AL Hek has been allocated  North Garo Hills district.

Sniawbhalang Dhar  will look after Ri Bhoi district while  Comingone Ymbon has been allocated South West Khasi Hills district.

Metbah Lyngdoh will look after South Garo Hills district while Lahkem Rymbui has been allocated West Garo Hills

Kyrmen Shylla has been allocated South West Garo Hills whereas Banteidor Lyngdoh has been asked to look after East Garo Hills.

Hamlet Dohling has been allocated  West Jaintia Hills while  Samlin Malngiang will  look after East Jaintia Hills

The Ministers will review programmes such as MGNREGS, PMAY,NSAP, SSA, MDM,ICDS, NHM, NRDWP,TSC/SBM, PMGSY, AIBP/PMKSY  and RKVY.

The Minister will undertake quarterly review of the flagship programmes every quarter
